Any Paegas customer can now communicate in seven different languages - without having to speak the languages in person. From November onwards, this interpreting facility is available through Paegas Asistent, a service that began to attract great interest soon after its launch in spring 1999. The Paegas Asistent service now provides not only a number-searching facility and a direct connection service without requiring the customer to dial the number (and the transfer of the requested telephone numbers to the customers mobile telephone display via the SMS short text message service), but also the pre-planning of telephone connections and the establishment of conference calls - and even interpreting services. "Paegas Asistent marked the arrival on the Czech marketplace of an entirely new type of services. We are confident that the extension of the spectrum of services to include interpreting services will be warmly welcomed by our customers on many occasions in both their work and in their private lives," said Robert Chvátal, Marketing Director of RadioMobil a.s.
In order to be able to use the interpreting service, the customer merely has to dial the number 333 from a Paegas telephone, or to dial +42-603-123 333 if calling from abroad via roaming, and to request one of the available languages. If English or German is selected, a connection with the assistance of an interpreter will be set up as a so-called conference call within just a few minutes. For interpreting services in French, Italian, Spanish, Russian and Polish, it is necessary to plan the call at least two hours in advance. The service is available to all customers with Paegas standard tariff programmes. It is available on working days between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. The charge is CZK 49 (excluding 5% VAT) per minute of interpreting via the Paegas Asistent service. Because the service necessitates conference calling, the price consists of the rate for the interpreting service and the charge for the connection to the call destination in line with the callers tariff programme. The interpreting services are arranged for Paegas by one of the largest Czech translation agencies - SPA.
The translation and interpreting agency SPA has existed in its current form since 1993 and is a member of the Pan-Text group. SPA offers a comprehensive range of interpreting and translation services in all world languages, and works with more than 600 interpreters and translators.
