Paegas Club Card Now Available to Most Frequent Users of Paegas Services

• Paegas Club Card allows is owner to take out a credit without the need to have an account with Bank Austria Creditanstalt
• Advantages of a credit card and the gold membership Paegas Club Card in one
• The Card offers an interest-free credit for up to 45 days

To the customers who make use of Paegas services most frequently, RadioMobil, in cooperation with Bank Austria Creditanstalt, now offers the Paegas Club Card. This Card allows it owners to take out a credit repeatedly without the need to have an account with Bank Austria Creditanstalt, and moreover, the client can make use of the credit for up to 45 days without any interest.

Every customer can decide for such instalments that will not endanger his or her budget - it is possible to repay as little as 10% of the amount owed per month. The Card fulfils all the functions of a standard payment card and its credit limit ranges from CZK 10,000 to CZK 180,000, depending on the clients income.

"Our customers have already got accustomed that we do our best to meet their wishes," explains Robert Chvátal, RadioMobils Marketing Director. "In this case this is also a chance to appreciate the trust of our customers who use our services most frequently. The Paegas Club Card fulfils not only the functions of a credit and payment card but it also combines all the advantages of the Paegas Club gold membership."

Under normal conditions, each user of the standard Diamond, Manager, Paegas 300 or Paegas 120 tariff who registers in the Club via the infoline, the internet or in writing can become a Paegas Club Gold Card holder. In the case of the Paegas Club Card, each Card owner gets the advantages of gold membership regardless of which tariff programme he or she uses. The Paegas Club Gold Card will then offer the holder a number of advantages - e.g. free entrance to the Airline Business Club lounge, up to 15% discounts in Paegas Retail Shops and discounts on a wide portfolio of Paegas Club partners. In addition, each Paegas Club customer receives the Paegas Impuls club quarterly free of charge.

Some of RadioMobil customers have recently or will soon receive a letter with an offer to take advantage of the Paegas Club Card. They will be eligible to apply upon producing a filled-in application form, one ID card and a confirmation of income. The Card and the PIN will be sent to the client by registered mail. Then it will be up to the Card owner for what purposes he or she is going to use the Card - whether he or she is going to use the Card for paying for goods and services, for withdrawing cash from ATMs, or for regular payments of RadioMobils telecommunications fees. "We have already experience with the VISA Maxim credit card for which there is a great demand among our clients," says ing. František HlaváÄŤ, Member of the Board and Executive Director of Bank Austria Creditanstalt. "Moreover, the Paegas Club Card combines, in comparison with the Maxim card, besides the more advantageous monthly fee, also the advantages of Paegas Club membership. At the same time it brings the clients a significantly simpler procedure when applying for the Card. Already the fact that an important company such as RadioMobil has recommended the applicant for the Card is very important for us."

The joint-stock company RadioMobil is the operator of a GSM 900/1800 MHz network called Paegas. Since 1996, when RadioMobil entered the Czech market and brought in competition, it obtained more than two million customers. RadioMobil sells prepaid services under the brand Paegas Twist, which is the most successful prepaid service in the Czech market, providing its users with a whole range of services such as data and fax connection, GSM Banking based on the SIM Toolkit standard, Paegas Assistant services, access to WAP services and furthermore it offers a free e-mail ClickBox Easy. Paegas Click is another brand of RadioMobil, focused on customers with Internet or WAP access. RadioMobil belongs to the Deutsche Telekom Group - one of the worlds biggest telecommunication operators. Through its subsidiary company T-Mobil (Deutsche Telekoms mobile operator) it owns 92.136% in the CMobil consortium. Other shareholders of CMobil are: STET Mobile Holdings N.V. (7.164%) and PVT a.s. (0.7%). The international CMobil consortium now owns 60.8% of RadioMobil whose second biggest shareholder is the company ÄŚeské radiokomunikace.
Today, the Paegas GSM network covers over 99% of the Czech population and 99.8% of first class roads. Only during the year 2000 the number of transmitters increased by 750 and thus reached 2500 by the end of the year. Last year, investments only in the network exceeded nine billion crowns. RadioMobil customers may use their mobile phones in networks of 209 operators from 90 countries of the whole world (127 various locations altogether). By the end of February 2001, more than 2,000,000 customers were using Paegas services.
