Paegas Assistant operators have already successfully handled
tens of thousands of telephone-number queries and patched through hundreds
of conference calls. "Weve been very pleasantly surprised by the level
of interest in the new service. Were already 20 percent ahead of our
original expectations for the entire year in terms of number of calls,
and those estimates were founded on data compiled by operators who started
up similar services in other countries," said RadioMobil press spokeswoman
Tereza Kakosová. Callers like Paegas Assistant particularly because they
dont have to remember or write down the number they request but are instead
directly connected by operators, who will even send the number by SMS
free of charge. "The service is ideal for drivers, for example, who need
to concentrate on the road. For them its as simple as dialing 333 and
letting Paegas operators do the rest," Kakosová added. In addition to
finding telephone numbers in various databases (e.g. fixed networks, Paegas,
Edit) and directly linking callers to those numbers, 333 operators can
also schedule calls and arrange conference calls, either on the spot or
at an appointed time. Because databases are often linked, numbers can
be searched for by name, address and, in some cases, profession (e.g.
locksmiths in Tábor). In the short time since its inception, Paegas Assistant
- the first service of its kind in the Czech Republic - has generated
an enthusiastic response from the public. RadioMobil carefully monitors
the line to make sure that requests are received and information dispatched
as effectively as possible. Paegas Assistant operates around the clock
and is continually recruiting new operators, who undergo rigorous training
to ensure that customers needs are met. RadioMobil, a.s. is the operator
