The new Paegas Asistent service, slated for release at the beginning of May by RadioMobil, the operator of the Paegas GSM mobile telephone network, will give clients access to telephone numbers from databases kept by Paegas, SPT Telecom and the Edit company catalog and provide a number of other high-quality services.
â?śItâ??s an effective, quick way of communicating which represents another step forward in terms of safety in mobile telephone use, for example while operating a vehicle. All you do is dial the Paegas Asistent 333 number and ask for the telephone number and a connection, without even taking your hands off the wheel,â?ť said the marketing director of RadioMobil, Robert Chvátal.
â?śOf course, the fact that Paegas Asistent can be used to look for a telephone number isnâ??t anything out of the ordinary. In this case, though, that function serves only as an essential starting point for a whole spectrum of other services,â?ť Chvátal added. Its biggest advantage over other telephone services available on the Czech market is that the operator sends the requested number in the form of an SMS short text message to the mobile telephone of the caller. The result is that the customer doesnâ??t have to immediately note the number, but can dial it straight away or save it on his or her telephoneâ??s SIM card for future use.
In addition, Paegas Asistent operators will connect the customer directly to the requested party within the Paegas or SPT Telecom network upon request. If the call doesnâ??t have to be made right away and the caller doesnâ??t want to repeatedly call the number, he or she can simply ask the operator to put the call through at a later time. The system takes care of the rest, ensuring that the call is made at the proper time.
But that isnâ??t all Paegas Asistent can do. It can also be used to speak with several (up to 24) parties at once, both within the Czech Republic and abroad, by making use of Paegas GSM technology enabling conference calling. And just like a standard call, a conference call can also be ordered ahead of time for a certain hour and day.
â?śA service which allows participants not only to acquire standard information about a telephone number, but also to dial it, to hold conference calls and to schedule both services for a specific hour has yet to appear on our market,â?ť said RadioMobil press spokeswoman Tereza Kakosová.
â?śClients can use Paegas Asistent 24 hours a day, seven days a week,â?ť said customer-service division director Piero Longo. â?śWe believe that the people who will value the service most are those who often need to call while outside the office and those whose work requires them to be in contact with people from different regions. With our help, thereâ??s no complicated searching, and their address books can stay in the trunk of their car while they concentrate on driving,â?ť he added.
Paegas Asistent will be available to all users of Paegas tariff programs for local and international calls. Conference calls will also be made accessible to customers whose phones or services donâ??t otherwise support the service. This means that, in addition to Paegas Twist card users, those who are currently using the Paegas network as roaming clients will also be able to take advantage of conference- and scheduled-call services.
