Prague, 20 June 2014 – Czech operators T-Mobile, O2 and Vodafone are in discussions regarding potential sharing and consolidation of their 2G, 3G and LTE mobile networks.
The discussions concern an analysis of the potential business model for mobile network sharing and consolidation. The analysis will be performed by an external advisor based on the data and information provided by the individual operators.
Once the analysis is completed, each of the operators will decide whether or not it will want to continue in the project. If so, the operators will start commercial negotiations to reach an agreement on the financial and legal terms of the joint cooperation model.
Pending the preparation of the analysis, the operators will continue implementing their network development activities which they planned earlier.
