Novelties for April:New Dimension in Communication with Paegas Mobile Phone

From April, all users of the currently offered Paegas tariff programs (Paegas 20 to Paegas 300, including partner programs and the Jistota program) and also the users of Paegas Twist prepaid cards can call the ClickBox or the Voice Mailbox for free. This opens up a completely new dimension in communication for RadioMobil customers â?" if they do not wish or cannot receive a call, they can have it diverted in their mailbox and collect it anytime free of charge. Also from 1 April, the price list of calls to mobile networks of other Czech operators is simplified. Cancellation of fees for calls to the mailbox applies to all users of regular tariff programs and TWIST customers when using quick dialling, i.e. the number 3311 (regular Mailbox) and 3322 (ClickBox) from their own telephones. When calling from another telephone number and when using the long number (0603 12 33 11, or 0603 12 33 22), the fee for access to the mailbox remains unchanged.

Based on the principle of SIM Toolkit technology are three new services that RadioMobil, as the only operator in the Czech Republic, offers its customers for whom the Paegas mobile phone is an indispensable help for their work. Paegas Locator, Paegas MobilChange and the Tailor-Made SIM Toolkit can be used by mobile phone owners who own the most up-to-date SIM card in the Czech market, Paegas Profi SIM.

Paegas Locator allows to localise a mobile phone by means of a computer equipped with a GSM module and digital map software. The owner of the telephone that is being looked for must give his/her consent with this operation. By means of Paegas MobilChange it is possible to control Microsoft Outlook directly from the mobile telephone, which can be otherwise accessed only from oneâ??s own computer. The Tailor-Made SIM Toolkit Application allows installation of any SIM Toolkit application in the Profi SIM card customised exactly to the customerâ??s needs.

The Paegas Profi SIM card which gives companies the possibility to use these services has the same parameters as standard Paegas SIM cards (including memory space for 200 telephone number entries). All customers who have concluded a General Agreement with RadioMobil can obtain this card from sales representatives of the company.

Users of prepaid cards Paegas Twist can now use a more developed system of recharge via Twist coupons. The customer who will call the recharge line will, if the recharge is successful, have his/her new credit added immediately and together with a recharge confirmation the voice system will inform him/her of the new amount and period of validity of the credit. Another innovation is the fact that Paegas mobile phone owners may now realise their first Twist card recharge from any telephone. Until now, it has been possible to recharge oneâ??s credit from another telephone number, but the first recharge had to be done from oneâ??s own telephone via the recharge number 4602. Moreover, the customer who needs to recharge from another telephone can now do so without having to insert the four-digit access number. He/she can just call 0603124602 when in the Czech Republic or, when abroad or in the case of direct roaming, +420 603 12 46 02 or +420 603 12 46 01 (for Twist roaming free of charge). When using Twist roaming with a back call, the customer must insert the number in the format **111*00420603124602# (or **111*00420603124601#) and wait for a back call (the call is free of charge). If the Paegas customer in the Czech Republic or the customer using Twist roaming with a direct call decides to recharge from his/her own telephone, the numbers to be used are the same as before: 4602 or 4601.

For April, RadioMobil has prepared a unique offer for its customers: Every customer who will buy a Twist set with the Siemens C35i telephone for 5 449 KÄŤ in April will receive the latest CD of the popular foreign group Morcheeba. This group was an exclusive guest of this yearâ??s Academy of Popular Music Awards whose main partner was RadioMobil. The company expects that the CD worth more than 600 KÄŤ will appeal exactly to the people interested in the very popular Siemens C35i. Those who will choose a Twist set with the Siemens M35i telephone for 6 499 KÄŤ will receive a headset and a banking Twist card as free gifts.

This week, the GSM Banking service received another award for innovation. The Comenius Foundation, organiser of the Czech TOP 100 survey, presented the award to RadioMobil representatives at the official opening of the Banking and Finance Forum that took place in the Pragueâ??s Congress Centre. GSM Banking has won the respect of the professional public already a number of times. Of greatest importance was the award for the most innovative GSM operator in the world which RadioMobil received exactly for this service by the GSM Association in 1999.

The joint-stock company RadioMobil is the operator of a GSM 900/1800 MHz network called Paegas. Since 1996, when RadioMobil entered the Czech market and brought in competition, it obtained more than two million customers. RadioMobil sells prepaid services under the brand Paegas Twist, which is the most successful prepaid service in the Czech market, providing its users with a whole range of services such as data and fax connection, GSM Banking based on the SIM Toolkit standard, Paegas Assistant services, access to WAP services and furthermore it offers a free e-mail ClickBox Easy. Today, the Paegas GSM network covers over 99% of the Czech population and 99.8% of first class roads. Only during the year 2000 the number of transmitters increased by 750 and thus reached 2500 by the end of the year. Last year, investments only in the network exceeded nine billion crowns. RadioMobil customers may use their mobile phones in networks of 203 operators from 89 countries of the whole world (124 various locations altogether). By the end of February 2001, more than 2,000,000 customers were using Paegas services.
