No monthly fees, telephones for 1 Kč beginning in January

During the month of January, monthly operating fees for mobile phones will be waived for all new customers. "There hasn't been a better offer yet on the Czech digital mobile communications market," said RadioMobil spokeswoman Tereza Kakosová. In addition, those who choose the Manažer or Diamant tariff program will receive Nonstop services free of charge for three months, allowing them to save money on several types of calls. "Nonstop services can be used by all Paegas customers for deals such as one-crown calling within the Paegas network and weekend and nighttime calling after 9:00 p.m. to the SPT Telecom network for the same price," Kakosová added.

Starting in January, the Bosch GSM-COM 698, voted Mobil of the Year for 1998 by an expert panel, will also be on sale for only 1 Kč (not including DPH). Other interesting offers include the Paegas Data package, containing the 109 gram Bosch 908 mobile telephone, a data cable for computer downloading and a CD player for 7,499 Kč. The 908 is not only one of the smallest mobile phones on the market today, but also supports the SIM Toolkit standard. The offer also includes free-of-charge activation of data and fax services, which normally retail for 2,000 Kč.

In January, RadioMobil will broaden the spectrum of mobile phones available as part of the Paegas Twist collection with the addition of the Panasonic G450. The G450 set will retail for 6,499 Kč (not including DPH) and will join the Siemens S6 Power for 4,999 Kč with a free leather case, the Alcatel One Touch Club for 5,999 Kč and the Nokia 5110 for 8,999 Kč as phones available as part of Twist sets.

Finally, customers can continue to sample RadioMobil's wide selection of specially priced phones, including the Siemens S10 with color display and SIM Toolkit support for 1,999 Kč; the Motorola d520 for 999 Kč, sold with an SIM card supporting SIM Tookit as part of the Paegas Info Pack; the stylish Motorola StarTAC 70 for 4,999 Kč; or another Mobile of the Year award winner in 1998, the Nokia 5110, for 2,999 Kč.
