Prague, 24 August 2004 - Starting on 1 September, T-Mobile customers will be able to take advantage of four new tariffs called T Mobile Relax, offering, in combination with the HIT tariff add-on, the most favourable calling rates in the Czech market. "This is another important step in the area of prices. T Mobile Relax will most likely be a positive shock for the magenta ones and a negative shock for the green ones and all the rest," Jiří Dvorjančanský, T-Mobile's Executive Vice President Marketing comments on the launch of the new tariffs.
A fundamental feature of the tariffs are the most favourable per-minute prices for calls to all networks, a dramatic increase in free airtime included in the monthly fee, and a partial unification of prices. The price of a call within the new tariffs ranges from CZK 2.40 to 6.00 per minute. These rates are up to fifty percent lower than those offered by the competition. The monthly-fee/free-minutes ratio has been made more favourable by approximately 11 percent.
The new tariffs also bring a higher degree of simplicity. A single price applies to calls to any Czech network within both higher tariffs. However, the new tariffs are not identical at any price. As desired by customers, the price of calls to the T-Mobile network remains different from the price of calls to the other networks within the tariff (T-Mobile Relax 30), which makes calls to other T-Mobile users significantly more affordable. Two rates also apply within the second lowest tariff, T-Mobile Relax 80. Identical prices are, of course, charged for peak and off-peak calls, so users do not have to think about when the best time to make a call is.
"The T-Mobile Relax tariffs make life easier - customers can make calls without being afraid of the size of their telephone bill. After the Relax roaming tariffs, we are now introducing an offer of calls within the Czech Republic. We have traditionally scheduled such changes for September and I believe that this will be a pleasant surprise for our customers," J. Dvorjančanský adds.
The launch of the new T-Mobile Relax tariffs is part of the "It's OK to Call" strategy of T-Mobile International, one of the largest mobile operators in the world and the only global operator in the Czech market.

Special promotion: Call free at weekends!
On the occasion of the launch of the new T-Mobile Relax tariff programmes, the company has prepared a special offer for all who activate the new tariff programmes: until the end of November, they can make weekend calls within the T-Mobile network completely free of charge! The free weekends also apply to national holidays and calls to the voice mailbox. Free weekend calls do not use up the free minutes included in the tariff.
Those using the new T-Mobile Relax Partner tariff will be able to make calls within the T-Mobile network at the special rate of CZK 2.50/min until the end of November, which is one Czech crown less compared to the standard price.
T-Mobile Data Unlimited Special
Starting on 1 September 2004, T-Mobile clients can activate the brand-new T-Mobile Data Unlimited Special data tariff. In addition to unlimited internet access via GPRS, this tariff offers 80 free minutes to the T-Mobile network each month during the entire first year of contract duration. The monthly fee is just CZK 649. To be able to activate the tariff under these conditions, a one-year contract must be signed by 31 December 2004.
"Practically within the entire territory of the Czech Republic, in every place covered by T-Mobile, our clients can connect to the internet via GPRS at a speed of up to 85.6 kbps. They do not have to care about the connection time or volume of data transmitted. As soon as we launch EDGE this year, clients will be able to use this new, significantly faster technology within the same tariff," adds Jiří Dvorjančanský.
Tariff Student and Tariff 20 + 20 still available
The highly successful Student tariff, which now is again the only special tariff for students in the Czech market, is still available to customers. "Students are well informed about the offer of mobile services and are some of our most discerning customers. We are trying to meet their needs to the maximum extent possible. Many of them use value-added services such as MMS or downloads of Java games and applications directly to their mobile phones," Jiří Dvorjančanský explains. Within the CZK 190 monthly fee, students receive three free Java-game, logo or MMS content downloads, three sent MMS and three response SMS within the Navigator services in addition to 50 free minutes to all networks and 30 free SMS within the T-Mobile network.
Customers can also still activate Tariff 20+20, allowing calls to the fixed network for prices starting at CZK 1.30/min.
Note: All prices are in CZK excl. 19% VAT.
