RadioMobil was the first operator in the Czech market to introduce Paegas Assistant two years ago and today, when also other operators offer similar services, Paegas Assistant offers a much wider portfolio of services than its competitors. Paegas Assistant is really popular which is demonstrated not only by the fact that more than 2.5 million customers used it during the last year but also by the fact that the clients interest forced the other operators to allow access to this service also from their networks. A number of conference calls have been arranged via Paegas Assistant - besides classic business calls also for example a medical specialists consultation. Paegas customers use interpreting services not only in the most wanted foreign languages such as English and German but also conversations in Vietnamese, Turkish or Chinese took place via Paegas Assistant. A new service offered by Paegas Assistant is the translation of a dictated text.
Paegas Twist users have now the opportunity to use Twist Info Plus which gives them the chance to receive up-to-date information from over 45 Twist Info Plus channels directly to their mobile phone. So far Twist users could use only the Twist Info services which provided them with information from the same channels as in the case of Twist Info Plus, but each individual piece of news had to be requested by an SMS. Now the user just activates the respective channel via the SIM Toolkit menu, by sending an SMS in an exactly defined form (e.g. +Sport E) to 4616 or via ClickProfil. The user will start receiving information immediately after it has been published. The service can be cancelled again via the SIM Toolkit menu, by an SMS with the - sign (e.g. -Sport E) sent to 4616 or via ClickProfil.

The joint-stock company RadioMobil is the operator of a GSM 900/1800 MHz network called Paegas. Since 1996, when RadioMobil entered the Czech market and brought in competition, it obtained more than two million customers. RadioMobil sells prepaid services under the brand Paegas Twist, which is the most successful prepaid service in the Czech market, providing its users with a whole range of services such as data and fax connection, GSM Banking based on the SIM Toolkit standard, Paegas Assistant services, access to WAP services and furthermore it offers a free e-mail ClickBox Easy. Paegas Click is another brand of RadioMobil, focused on customers with Internet or WAP access. At www.click.cz they can easily configure services as well as for instance use a comprehensive e-mail box based on the unified messaging technology.
RadioMobil belongs to the Deutsche Telekom Group - one of the worlds biggest telecommunication operators. Through its subsidiary company T-Mobil (Deutsche Telekoms mobile operator) it owns 87.3% in the CMobil consortium. Other shareholders of CMobil are: STET Mobile Holdings N.V. (12%) and PVT a.s. (0.7%). The international CMobil consortium now owns 60.8% of RadioMobil whose second biggest shareholder is the company ÄŚeské radiokomunikace.
Today, the Paegas GSM network covers over 99% of the Czech population and 99.8% of first class roads. Only during the year 2000 the number of transmitters increased by 750 and thus reached 2500 by the end of the year. Last year, investments only in the network exceeded nine billion crowns. RadioMobil customers may use their mobile phones in networks of 204 operators from 89 countries of the whole world (124 various locations altogether). By the end of February 2001, more than 2,000,000 customers were using Paegas services.
