Prague, 28 February 2011 – T-Mobile has extended the fastest 3G mobile network with enhanced HSPA+ technology to twenty more cities. In addition, from 1 March, data transfer speed provided with the Internet na cesty Premium, Internet Premium (4G internet) and Internet v mobilu Premium tariff plans will be increased to the maximum limit.
In order to enable internet users to test the speed possibilities, T-Mobile has decided not to limit its customers and to provide them with the maximum download speed of 21.6 Mbps with the Internet na cesty Premium, Internet Premium (4G internet) and Internet v mobilu Premium tariff plans. Data users will thus be limited only by the possibilities of the utilised technology. Customers will need only the Huawei E 1823 USB modem, which is now available for prices starting at CZK 1.
HSPA+, the sole Czech provider of which is currently T-Mobile, is the latest software solution used in the 3G network. This technology provides customers with the most modern and fastest 3G network in the Czech Republic. Thanks to HSPA+, the network has greater capacity, which is absolutely necessary, given the ever increasing number of data users. More customers can thus download data at the same time at higher speeds. Another advantage is the user experience – videos and games start immediately.
