More Attractive Rates of Calls from Paegas from 1 September

Prague, 29 August 2001 â?" RadioMobil today introduced new price tariffs for calls from the Paegas network. Their main advantages are especially low rates for calls within the Paegas network, unified prices during the whole day, charging by the second and low SMS prices. It will now be possible to obtain a Paegas Partner card on each tariff. The new, attractive tariffs are available to new as well as existing customers.

Another price reduction in tariff rates is brought by the â?žHITâ?ś add-on which can be combined with all the new tariffs Paegas 20 Start, Paegas 80, Paegas 200 and Paegas 400. With â?śHIT,â?ť the customers will get a 20% discount on calls within the Czech Republic and with some of the tariffs also a reduced SMS price. This offer is designed for the customers who will conclude a two-year contract with RadioMobil without a subsidised telephone.

â?žIn the whole telecommunications market our offer brings the best ratio of price to the achieved value. The customers are given the opportunity to make calls to all the almost 2.5 million users of our network, that is nearly a quarter of the Czech population, for unbeatably low prices, and at the same time make use of all the advantages and services we provide,â?ś says Robert Chvátal, Marketing Director and member of the Board of RadioMobil. The rate for calling the national Paegas network is CZK 2/min. for the majority of tariffs with â?žHITâ?ś and CZK 2.50 for the standard tariffs, which is today the best offer available in the mobile market.

With the new tariffs, the customers can make calls during the whole day for the same attractive prices, as it is not distinguished between peak and off-peak rates, working days or weekends. The newly introduced charging by the second after the first minute is a guarantee for the customers that they will pay only for the airtime they have really used.

On each tariff the customer can obtain another SIM card within the Paegas Partner programme. Up to 3 additional SIM cards can be obtained on one monthly fee. Within Paegas Partner the customers will have an opportunity to buy a mobile phone on favourable terms.

The price of an SMS message is CZK 1 for all tariffs with â?žHITâ?ś. For tariffs without this add-on, the customer will pay maximum CZK 1.70 for a message.

If the customer uses more minutes in the particular month than is the number of free minutes included in the respective tariff, only two rates apply â?" a rate for calling the national Paegas network and a rate for calls to other operatorsâ?? networks (without distinguishing between a mobile and a fixed network).

The new tariffs have been created on the basis of the latest research into the behaviour of customers in the GSM market. The individual tariff categories always include such amounts of free minutes that will be most suitable for important mobile phone user groups. The customer will thus have the chance to choose a fitting tariff depending on how many minutes of airtime he or she uses in a month.

Changes in prices of prepaid TWIST cards
There are also changes in TWIST prices. From 1 September 2001, two tariff options will be available to TWIST users. In addition to the standard tariff there will be also the TWIST SMS tariff offering lower prices of SMS messages. With the new tariff, the customer will pay CZK 1.70 for one SMS message and CZK 6.60 for a minute of call into any of the Czech networks. The rate charged for calls to the TWIST Nej number is CZK 2.80 per minute.

There is also a radical reduction in the price of the TWIST card itself, from the original CZK 1,399 to 699 incl. VAT. The price of a banking TWIST card is reduced to CZK 899 and the price of a gold number card to 2,699 incl. VAT.
