Prague, July 27, 2020 - Martina Kemrová, Corporate Communications Manager and Spokesperson, is leaving T-Mobile Česká Republika a.s. She was one of the longest serving spokespersons in the Czech Republic - since December 2002 she has been the face and voice of the company, gradually leading the external, internal and corporate communication departments, and for the last 5 years she has been responsible for external public relations and social responsibility.
"One thousand two hundred and twenty-one press releases, dozens of press conferences, 4 mergers and twice as many reorganizations, 3 CEOs, 10 years of the T-Mobile Rozjezdy competition, hundreds of meetings with people from all over the world," sums up Kemrová, : "After eighteen interesting years, it's time to stop ´taking the advantage of the benefits of being a member of a global group´, and try something else."
Since December 2002, when Martina Kemrová boarded “a magenta train”, (not only) the telecommunications world has completely changed. From 2G networks, we have reached the 5G threshold, we have changed SMS for messaging services, we carry the Internet and television in our pockets, and over the years T-Mobile has become not only number one on the Czech mobile market, but above all a recognized provider of integrated telecommunications services. During Martina's tenure, T-Mobile received a number of PR awards, with the biggest harvest in 2016 for activities related to the 20th anniversary of the operator's establishment. Martina Kemrová was involved in the creation of the T-Mobile Rozjezdy project, and a number of other CSR activities, including a unique program of expert volunteering focused primarily on the non-profit sector.
"Martina left a large part of her originality and personality in T-Mobile and it´s communication, and we are very grateful for that," says Juraj Bóna, Executive Director of T-Mobile CZ. "Even though she has decided to pursue a different career, we want to work with Martina in the future on projects that she has enthusiastically launched and led so far."
As of July 1, 2020, PR, CSR and new Public Affairs agenda is covered by Petr Jonák, whose start the company was announced in a press release on June1. The contactaddress press@t-press.cz is still available for journalists.
