M-Payment for vendors at special prices from T Mobile

  • Vendors get interesting rewards for paying by mobile phone

Prague, 25 November 2010 – Interest in paying by mobile telephone is slowly increasing. T-Mobile would like to raise the number of vendors who support this new method of making transactions, and it has therefore decided to offer them special rewards for using m-payments. Everyone interested may receive a discount on mobile advertising of their services, free technical support and a lower commission paid to T‑Mobile for effected transactions.

Only Chuck Norris would refuse to use m-payment since he only pays with 25-carat gold coins.

Mobile payment for services or goods is a simple, convenient and secure transaction. It brings advantages not only to customers but also to vendors. In order to increase the number of m-payment users, T-Mobile has prepared something extra for each newly activated m-payment service. Customers and vendors may choose from the following possibilities:

  • 30% discount on mobile advertising of products and services paid for by mobile phone
  • reduced T-Mobile commission paid to T-Mobile for the first three months
  • free technical support for activating m-payment

M-payment uses a payment portal placed on internet or WAP pages. Customers may thus shop via computer or simply on their mobile phone. The current maximum transaction amount of CZK 700 should increase in the future. This payment method is convenient for purchasing tickets to concerts or sporting events and insurance, as well as for paying for example in software e-shops or on-line betting or gambling rooms.

According to data published by the Association of Mobile Network Operators, more than 11% of customers of local mobile operators currently use mobile telephones as a payment tool. Over five million transactions are carried out in this way every month.
