Prague, 11 May 2009 - What will be the composition of the new Czech government? Who will win the Champions League? Which bank will be the next to go bankrupt? Has the swine flu spread to the Czech Republic? If you want to know the answers to these and many other questions you should order the news service from T‑Mobile, as the operator is now offering the possibility to subscribe to selected information channels. In addition, customers who order the SMS news from one of the selected news providers in May can use this service free of charge for 30 days.
This special offer applies to three selected SMS channels providing information prepared by the reporters from the Czech News Agency, the Blesk daily and the tn.cz server (a new provider). Customers can order the latest news feed to their mobile phones by sending an order SMS with one of the following texts to 4616:
Everyone who activates one or more of these services in May will receive the news free of charge. That means that if you order one of them today, you will get the latest news free of charge until 10 June.
These three channels are now also offering the possibility to subscribe to their services. While with the old SMS services, customers paid for each received SMS and so the total amount of payment could be different each month, now the subscribers will pay one fee defined in advance. The price of the SMS news service is CZK 49 incl. VAT for thirty days, i.e. less than two crowns per day. Subscribers will receive at least 75 news SMS each month.
The offer of multimedia news has also been extended to include MMS news provided by the Czech News Agency, Blesk and the Hospodářské noviny daily. Similarly as with SMS news, customers can subscribe to this service and receive photos, pictures, animations and extensive commentaries for CZK 59 incl. VAT for thirty days. Subscribers will receive at least one multimedia message on a working day. The service can be easily ordered by sending a SMS with one of the following texts to 4616:
