Jitka Adámková appointed Human Resources Director at T-Mobile Czech Republic and Slovak Telekom

Prague, Bratislava, 11 June 2019 – Beginning 1 September 2019, the Human Resources Department at T-Mobile Czech Republic and Slovak Telekom will be headed by Jitka Adámková (44). Jitka Adámková is coming from the Essen headquarters of the innogy group, where she currently holds the position of Senior Vice President Applied Excellence & Change, and will replace Tomáš Ryšavý, who was put in charge of the Human Resources Department after Jiří Vacek left the position at the end of 2018.

Jitka Adámková is a doctor of law (Masaryk University in Brno) and a holder of an MBA degree. She started her professional career as a specialist in labour law at the arms manufacturer Zbrojovka Brno. In 2002, she shifted the focus of her career development to the energy sector, in which she first served as HR Director at the gas distributor Jihomoravská plynárenská and then for the entire RWE Group in the Czech Republic, where she contributed significantly to restructuring and change projects. Until 2014, she coordinated the HR CEE activities within innogy. Before transferring to the Essen headquarters, Jitka Adámková held the position of Executive Director & COO at Innogy Zákaznické služby (Customer Services) in the Czech Republic.

Jitka Adámková is bringing extensive management experience from an international environment as well as experience in change management to the Deutsche Telekom Group. In her new position, she wants to focus on the area of corporate culture: “I fully identify with the vision of a company focused on customers and employees. I am convinced that new trends in the area of corporate culture will support the further development of the company.” Jitka Adámková is a certified coach. She speaks English and German in addition to her native Czech. She enjoys spending her free time travelling, especially in Asia and the United States. Her hobbies include raising exotic parrots and horse riding, and she is interested in psychology and literature.
