Prague, 1 December 2008 - The Internet ADSL service allowing customers to access the internet via fixed lines, which was introduced by T-Mobile at the beginning of this year to complement the popular mobile Internet 4G service, has become faster and cheaper. Starting today, the speed available under the Internet ADSL Standard and Internet ADSL Premium tariff plans has increased by up to one-half while the fees have been reduced by two-thirds and one-half, respectively. At the same time, the portfolio has been made more straightforward with the discontinuation of the lowest Internet ADSL Basic tariff plan.
"The ADSL technology has not reached its limits yet so we can continue improving the conditions for our customers, increasing the connection speed while reducing the prices. We are pleased that such development helps facilitate access to the internet for the broadest spectrum of customers, thus boosting general computer and internet literacy," says Martina Kemrová, Senior Head of Corporate Communication and spokesperson for T-Mobile Czech Republic.
T-Mobile started to gradually increase ADSL connection speeds while cutting prices several months ago. Moreover, all FUP limits for all Internet ADSL tariff plans offered by T-Mobile were cancelled effective 1 September 2008 and the plans for business and residential customers were merged. Customers using any of the standard T-Mobile voice tariff plans can still get a 20% discount on the Internet ADSL monthly fees. Current customers will have their connection speed increased and price reduced in accordance with the current offer from 1 January 2009.
