Prague, 13 August 2008 - It has been nine years since T-Mobile Assistant 1183 started helping the users of all Czech networks and foreign visitors to the Czech Republic. The service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Dozens of operators are ready to answer various questions in Czech, English and German. Millions of calls have been handled during the existence of the service.

T-Mobile Assistant 1183 offers a wide range of information: It is able to look up a phone number (and connect the caller if so desired), find out when a train to Pohledské Dvořáky and a bus to Oskořínek leave, recommend a cultural event as well as provide traffic information or a weather forecast. The information databases are constantly extended and updated.
In addition to providing useful information, T-Mobile Assistant 1183 also offers a number of other services. It is able to set up a conference call with up to thirty participants or provide professional interpreting and translation services in 40 languages. T-Mobile Assistant 1183 serves as an efficient secretary with a pleasant voice who will wake up the customer in time, look up the desired information, plan an important phone call or type up a text and send it to the requested address.
Most callers contact 1183 on Mondays and Wednesdays; the busiest days are those before the summer holiday season and in December. The average call length is just under one minute. The most frequent answers concern phone numbers, addresses and transport connections.
A unified rate - CZK 14.90/minute + a set-up fee of CZK 14.90 (the prices include VAT) - is charged for the basic T-Mobile Assistant services to all customers, irrespective of the tariff plan they use.
