The Indian inspiration is also revealed by the video for the first single - Ghandi Mahatma.
The album will be released on standard CDs on 21 October and will be available for purchase at the final concert of the t-music tour in Prague. About Horkýže Slíže
Horkýže Slíže is a leading Slovak band that has many fans among Czech music lovers. The band's popularity stems mainly from their high-energy concerts, which always offer a unique experience, as well as the band's use of different musical genres and sharp, witty lyrics.
As incredible as it may seem, Horkýže Slíže were formed seventeen years ago and their line-up - Kuko, Mario Sabotér, Dr. Štefánik and Jean Claud Vandel has remained unchanged since 2002. To date, the band has released nine studio albums and one live concert recording, which was also released on DVD. The tenth album will be released in an innovative manner - in digital format at www.t-music.cz.
The band spends a lot of time on tour, playing some 100 gigs a year mainly on Czech and Slovak stages. The band's Czech concert history started several years ago in small underground clubs. Now, the band sells out concert halls and is a popular headliner at festivals whose concerts offer exactly what festival-goers expect. The band's popular songs such as "LAG song" and "Malá žužu" have caught on to such an extent that the band can let the audience handle the vocals during live performances.
The band's last album, Ukáž tu tvoju ZOO ("Show me your ZOO"), included the controversial megahit "RnB soul". The video for this track posted on the Youtube portal was played by almost two million viewers. Other smash hits by this band, such as "Silný Refrén" and "Líza a Vendy", have also done well on the music charts. The Rammstein-parody video for the "Bernardýn" song received an Óčko TV music award for the best foreign video.
Horkýže Slíže describe themselves as a jolly band with a sense of humour, parody and irony. They have never lacked detachment, which is demonstrated by the band's diverse repertoire and brought palette of styles ranging form rock and ska punk to almost metal. They have also received many music awards, such as the Slovenský slávik ("Slovak Nightingale") award, the Aurel award presented by the Slovak Music Academy and the Óčko TV music award mentioned above. They also scored well in the Český slavík ("Czech Nightingale") music awards, taking third place in the category "Nightingales without Frontiers".
