Half-price mobile internet is back

Prague, 7 June 2012 – The week of irresistible prices for mobile internet from T-Mobile is back. After the success of a similar event last year, T-Mobile again offers mobile data tariff plans and bundles with a 50% discount. All customers need to do is conclude a fixed-term contract and they can enjoy browsing in the fastest network for half price for 12, 24 or 36 months. The offer is valid from 15 to 21 June. 

“Last year, the offer of half-price internet met with a great response from customers. Therefore, we decided to repeat the offer so that as many users as possible can enjoy browsing in the fastest network,” says František Mala, Marketing Director at T-Mobile. 

Internet for a handset or a laptop, a netbook or a tablet is half price again at T-Mobile. All that is needed is to conclude a new contract or extend an existing one for any mobile internet bundle or tariff plan from 15 to 21 June. Internet v mobilu Standard can thus be obtained for just CZK 55 incl. VAT when ordered for two years. Any Internet v mobilu add-on can also be combined with a discount for smartphones. Customers will thus save twice – on the price of data and on the smartphone itself. 

Customers interested in mobile data for a laptop, a netbook or a tablet will save money, too. Internet na cesty and Internet Komplet are also available for half price. For example, customers can have Internet na cesty Premium, which provides the highest FUP limit on the market – 30 GB – for CZK 424.50/month incl. VAT for three years. Internet Komplet, which provides web access from both a handset and, for example, a tablet, comes to CZK 249.50/month incl. VAT with a two-year contract. The offer can also be used when concluding a fixed-term contract and purchasing a data device for a subsidised price. 

Existing T-Mobile customers with a voice plan have an advantage. If they add Internet na cesty to the voice plan with a 2v1 (2in1) bundle, their savings on mobile data will be even higher. Those who choose Internet na cesty Standard can obtain it for prices starting at CZK 124.50 incl. VAT. The standard price within the 2v1 (2in1) is CZK 249/month incl. VAT, and separately it is CZK 499/month incl. VAT. 

Bundles and tariff plans for mobile internet can be used by customers in the T-Mobile 2G and 3G network, which is currently available to 84% of the population and, according to independent tests, has been the fastest mobile internet connection in the Czech Republic in the long term. T-Mobile is the only operator in the Czech Republic to offer the HSPA+ technology throughout its entire 3G network, enabling data downloads with the speeds of up to 21.6 Mbps. In April this year, the operator also introduced an enhancement in the form of HSPA+ 42 at selected locations, which enables download speeds of up to 42 Mbps.
