TORONTO, CANADA AND PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC - May 27, 2009 - Spatial View Inc., a leading developer of 3D image processing and display technologies, today announced that T-Mobile Czech Republic will pilot its autostereoscopic 3D displays in two of its Prague retail locations. The screens will feature original 3D content produced by global ad agency Saatchi & Saatchi to engage viewers and drive sales at the point of purchase.
T-Mobile Czech Republic will start by placing one Spatial View 46" display in each of their two most popular stores in Prague, located at Novy Smichov Shopping Center and Galerie Fenix. Using Spatial View's content creation tools, Saatchi & Saatchi specially updated T-Mobile's current consumer advertising campaign to play in 3D within each of these locations. In addition, a glasses-free 3D video clip produced by T-Mobile and targeted 3D advertisements will play to captivate viewers and drive sales. Content will be powered by Spatial View's Power Player 3.0.
Based on barrier panel technology that aligns left and right eye images simultaneously, the Spatial View 46 inch 3D Displays offer a glasses-free 3D viewing experience without the need for optical aids.
"I was greatly impressed upon first seeing Spatial View's glasses-free 3D screens and recognize that there was an opportunity to use them within our retail locations," Lucia Tarbajovská, Vice President Marketing Communication, T-Mobile Czech Republic. "We are proud to be the first Telecom retailer in Europe to utilize Spatial View's autostereoscopic 3D screen technology."
"Spatial View is pleased to be partnering with T-Mobile Czech Republic for its first 3D display debut in a global retail chain," said Jason King, VP of Sales & Marketing, Spatial View. "T-Mobile Czech Republic is committed to trying the latest technology that will enhance its customer's shopping experience, as well as grow its loyal client base."
