With effect from 1 May 2015, Eva Karasová replaced Petra Pavičová as CSR Manager at T-Mobile. Petra Pavičová left the company at the end of 2014. In her position, Eva Karasová will be in charge of the further development of the operator’s corporate social responsibility programme – from environmental protection through business ethics and cooperation with non-profit organisations, to employee volunteer programmes. One of the largest projects organised by T-Mobile in the area of CSR is Takeoffs of the Year to support small start-up businesses, the fifth edition of which is now underway.
“I understand my position as a mission and a logical development in my career. In the past years, I’ve gained vast experience in both PR and the non-profit sector, which I will now be able to make full use of,” says Eva Karasová, adding: “Social responsibility is at a very high level at T-Mobile. It is not limited to photogenic “doing good”, but it rather focuses on meaningful activities with a specific impact. I would like to continue in the current strategy which involves not only financial help but also assistance in the form of know-how sharing. It is great to work for a company where the employees consider helping those in need either financially or by means of volunteer work as a matter of course.”
Eva Karasová came to T-Mobile from Bison & Rose, where she had worked since 2014. Before joining Bison & Rose, she worked at the Open Society Fund Praha Foundation as a consultant for one year and, prior to that, for five years as a spokesperson at Tesco, where she was responsible for external communication including CSR. She transitioned to PR from the media in 2000 when she joined AC & C Public Relations.
Her hobbies include hiking, skiing, cycling, cinema, literature and preparing culinary treats for friends.
