Prague, 31 July 2006 - On 1 August, T-Mobile starts a data tariff price revolution. Both current and new users of data tariff add-ons will no longer have to worry about fees for internet browsing. With prices starting at CZK 99, they will get unlimited access to the internet in their mobiles and to the t-zones WAP portal. In addition, customers who activate the new Surf+ or Surf&Mail+ tariff add-on can try data services free of charge for two months.
Surf+
The Surf+ add-on replaces the current WAP package. As of 1 August, customers using the web'n'walk light service will receive, within the monthly tariff, unlimited access to the WAP t-zones portal and to the internet. For CZK 99 excl. VAT (CZK 117.81 incl. VAT), customers will thus be able to visit any section at t-zones - news, entertainment, traveling, downloads and others. Individual downloaded items, such as ringtones, wallpapers or games, are charged separately. Customers will thus pay, for example, the price of a Java game, without paying any fee for downloading it.
Customers with the web'n'walk light browser installed in their phones no longer have to check the charges for internet browsing. If they access the internet via GPRS/EDGE APN Internet, the monthly fee includes unlimited internet browsing using this browser.
An additional 1 MB of data will be available for access to other WAP pages outside t-zones. If a customer exceeds the monthly limit, the transferred data will be charged according to the standard price list for GPRS/EDGE.
The data tariff add-on is designated for customers using standard handsets with integrated WAP browser to which the web'n'walk light browser may be installed as a Java application (selected new phones are sold with this browser).
Surf&Mail+
Customers who use their mobile phone not only for browsing but also, for example, for accessing e-mail may purchase the Surf&Mail+ tariff add-on (formerly Email&PDA). Its users can now enjoy truly unlimited internet surfing for CZK 199 excl. VAT per month (CZK 236.81incl. VAT).
In addition to the current 10 MB of data for internet access, customers will get unlimited access to e-mail, either through an e-mail client installed in the mobile handset or in a PC (supporting POP3, IMAP4, SMTP).
The monthly fee also includes unlimited access to the internet via web'n'walk light, and WAP fans can enjoy unlimited access to the t-zones WAP portal.
The Surf&Mail+ add-on is suitable for customers with advanced MDA-type handsets with a built-in browser supporting the full-fledged version of web'n'walk, or for customers with mobile phones allowing access to e-mail through a built-in e-mail client. It can also be used by customers who connect their mobile to a PC and want to have access to e-mail by using the e-mail client in their PC.
In addition, all customers now have a unique possibility to try out the new version of data packages. Each customer who activates the Surf+ or Surf&Mail+ add-on by 31 December 2006 will not pay the first two monthly fees. Users who are not satisfied with the service during this trial period may deactivate the add-on free of charge.
The Internet+ data tariff add-on remains unchanged.
