Christmas presents from T-Mobile: discounts on LTE handsets, free Mobile TV and Christmas carp

On 2 November, T-Mobile is launching its Christmas offer focused on supporting sales of LTE-enabled handsets and the use of mobile data in the fastest network. The special offer includes three handset models that will be available with a significant discount. When purchasing a smartphone or tablet supporting the fastest mobile internet, customers will also receive a voucher for a present – a carp for the traditional Czech Christmas dinner. To enable customers to test the benefits of LTE, the operator is also offering them the possibility of using Mobile TV free of charge until the end of January without consuming mobile data.
“Our key priority is to offer the fastest mobile internet to the largest possible number of customers. Therefore we want to make it as accessible as possible for them, allowing them to try out the benefits it offers,” says Tomáš Ryšavý, Vice President Residential Segment at T-Mobile.
T-Mobile customers who extend their existing contract or sign a new one for two years during the campaign will have the possibility to purchase any of the three LTE-enabled Samsung handsets for special prices starting at CZK 1, a down payment due upon purchase, with the rest payable in instalments without interest (see the table below; prices include VAT).

When purchasing an LTE-enabled smartphone or a tablet in the period between 1 November and 24 December 2015, customers will receive a present – a voucher for a traditional Czech Christmas carp up to 2.5 kg, which they can collect between 20 and 24 December (Note: You can naturally purchase a larger carp; in such case, you will only pay the difference in its weigh above the 2.5 kg limit.) The voucher can be used with selected business partners in the distribution network of Fishmarket a.s. and is limited to the current list of distribution locations, which now comprises about 350 outlets. Beginning next week, the current list of the outlets will be available at www.t-mobile.cz/kapr. The good news for users of prepaid Twist cards is that this offer applies also to them.
Every customer using or activating the Mobile TV service from T-Mobile in the period from 1 November to 31 December 2015 will be able to use the Start plan free of charge until the end of January 2016 (the standard price of this plan is CZK 119 per month). The Komplet plan will then be available for CZK 180 following the application of the discount (instead of the standard price of CZK 299 per month). During the period stated above, mobile data downloaded while watching TV will not be counted against the data limit, so customers can watch TV also when they are not at home or within reach of a Wi-Fi network.
