Prague, 24th October - Only something little is enough to make your Christmas unforgettable. And to make this year’s Christmas holidays truly special, T-Mobile has prepared a lavish Christmas offer for contract customers and users of its prepaid services, as well as customers who newly activate the fixed-line internet and T-Mobile TV services. The Christmas offer can be used by both households as well as sole traders and small enterprises.
“We are continuing the activities we have undertaken this year and are bringing a Christmas offer that is sufficiently simple, without any unnecessary catches and conditions to make sure that literally every customer has something to choose from with T-Mobile,” says Juraj Bóna, T-Mobile Chief Country Officer for the Czech Republic, adding: “We have presents for customers wishing to purchase a new smartphone, T-Mobile TV subscribers and customers wishing to activate fixed-line internet. And of course we haven’t forgotten about our prepaid Twist service users.”
There has to be a smartphone under the Christmas tree. And to make distribution of Christmas presents easier for the Baby Jesus, T-Mobile will add a second smartphone for just CZK 1 with the purchase of a new handset. All customers need to do is sign a new contract or extend their existing contract for two years and choose a device from the special Christmas offer.
In November, customers can choose from two subsidised pairs of smartphones. When purchasing a Huawei P30 Lite with the basic price of CZK 7,998 incl. VAT, customers can get an Y52019 for CZK 1 (the standard price is CZK 2,999 incl. VAT). Customers selecting, for example, the Můj tarif M (“My M Tariff Plan”, which includes unlimited calls and text messages) and unlimited HD mobile internet will only pay CZK 3,999 incl. VAT for both phones (i.e. a CZK 4,000 subsidy will be applied). The second subsidised pair consists of a Huawei P30 (priced at CZK 15,998 incl. VAT) and a Huawei P Smart 20019 (with a standard price of CZK 5,001). In December, customers can look forward to an offer by another manufacturer.
Just as customers can have the price of a pair of handsets reduced by CZK 1,000 to CZK 5,000 thanks to the subsidy, they can also take advantage of the possibility to purchase the devices in instalments without interest if they sign a contract for a fixed term of two years.
What would Christmas be without classic Czech fairy tales on a big screen? Anybody who is thinking about purchasing not only the TV service from T-Mobile but also a new television can have everything sorted out online or at a T-Mobile shop. All they have to do is order the TV service from T-Mobile or extend their contract with the S tariff plan or higher for 24 months. And it does not matter if broadcasting is transmitted over the internet, fibre-optic cable or via satellite. Together with the new TV channels, T-Mobile is offering the feature-packed 55-inch 4K Philips (55PUS7304) television for the great price of CZK 11,501 incl. VAT.
And as customary with T-Mobile, the new television can be purchased in instalments over a two-year period without interest. All customers need to do is pay CZK 1 at the shop and then 23 monthly instalments of CZK 500. Naturally, customers can pay the subsidised price in full when ordering T-Mobile TV. The manufacturer’s recommended retail price is CZK 19,990 incl. VAT.
Christmas presents have also been prepared for existing users of any TV service from T-Mobile. Beginning on 15 November, T-Mobile TV subscribers using any tariff plan will receive the basic HBO bundle free of charge for two months. With the standard price of CZK 249 per month, the bundle includes HBO HD, HBO 2 HD and HBO 3 HD plus free access to the HBO GO application. Each customer can activate the basic HBO bundle themselves in the My T-Mobile web or mobile application in the period between 15 November and 31 December 2019. The free two-month period begins on the date on which the bundle is activated.
Moreover, from 15 November, T-Mobile will give customers free access to premium content in all TV tariff plans. Until 10 January, viewers can enjoy unique documentaries on BBC Earth, as well as the best European football on Premier Sport HD, DIGI Sport 1 HD and DIGI Sport 2 HD. And that is not all – in the same period, T-Mobile will include at least one extra channel in all TV tariff plans.
Customers wishing to activate fixed-line internet can also look forward to presents: with each new, ported or extended contract for a fixed term (starting from the S tariff plan), customers can choose a special Christmas present in the form of either a new notebook or game console for subsidised prices.
The Acer Aspire 1 notebook (in the red or black colour variant) will help with work and school, while also offering a lot of fun, and can be purchased in instalments of CZK 280 payable over a period of 23 months. The legendary PlayStation 4 game console, including three games, will come in handy not only during long winter evenings. Customers can divide the subsidised price of CZK 7,951 into instalments without interest. The Christmas offer is valid for all types of fixed-line internet: Pevný internet DSL (“Fixed-Line DSL Internet”), Pevný internet do zásuvky (“Plug-in Fixed-Line Internet”), Pevný internet vzduchem (“Fixed-Line Internet over the Air”) and Optický internet (‘”Fibre-Optic Internet”).
T-Mobile has not forgotten about the users of the prepaid Twist services either. With each first credit top-up of at least CZK 300 in November and December, they will receive 25% extra credit. Therefore, every customer topping up their credit with, for example, CZK 400 on 2 November, will receive an extra CZK 100 of credit. They can repeat the same transaction in December. Bonus credit will be given to customers who top their credit up via T-Mobile, for example in the My T-Mobile application, using a bank card on the website at t-mobile.cz, via Statements of Services, etc.
Data makes the world go round and therefore users of the prepaid Twist services can look forward to a hefty internet allowance in selected data bundles. The one-year bundle offers a 500 MB monthly allowance for the entire year, i.e. 6 GB in total, which can now be purchased at a 50% discount for CZK 499. Beginning on 24 October, Twist customers can still activate it with a 50% discount but with twice the data allowance – 12 GB. Existing users of the one-year bundle will not be deprived of the increased internet allowance either – T-Mobile will automatically increase the data for them. Customers can activate the bundle on T-Mobile’s website or purchase it as a present in the form of a voucher at T-Mobile shops. The recipients of the voucher can then activate the bundle right at the Christmas tree if they so wish.
Customers who prefer to purchase data by the month will receive a 10 GB data bundle in November and December for the price of the monthly 5 GB bundle, i.e. CZK 449 incl. VAT instead of CZK 599 incl. VAT.
