Christmas 2006 with T-Mobile

Prague, 27 September 2006 - At T-Mobile, Christmas starts as early as on 2 October this year. Interesting offers have been prepared for both contract customers and those who prefer prepaid services. In addition, this year T-Mobile will give everyone not one but two presents. Contract customers can look forward to an incredible amount of free minutes and SMS accompanied by a new phone as a Christmas present, free of charge. Twist customers will enjoy weekend and evening calls for as little as CZK 1/min. and a discount of CZK 600 on a new phone.

Limitless calls and text messaging
Each customer who enters into a new Subscriber Contract (also when porting his/her number from another operator), or switches from Twist to a standard tariff plan with a two-year contract in the period from 2 October to 31 December 2006 will receive a package of 5,000 free minutes and 5,000 SMS within the T-Mobile network for each month, which is more than 160 free minutes and 160 SMS per day. This is much more than an average customer normally uses, which practically means that these customers will make free phone calls and send SMS within the T-Mobile network.  

The offer can be used when entering into a contract with the HIT tariff add-on (calls cheaper by 20 percent and SMS for CZK 1/min. excl. VAT), as well as when purchasing a subsidized phone. This year's Christmas handsets offer is indeed appealing: it includes, for example, the Sony Ericsson K800i with a three-mega-pixel camera, or the Nokia 6233, the successor of the popular Nokia 6230i.

The number of months during which customers will be able to enjoy limitless calls and text messaging depends on the tariff plan selected when signing the contract. The minimum period is three months for Tariff T 30/T 30 HIT; the maximum period is two years with Tariff T 1500/T 1500 HIT. The extra minutes can only be used after using up the free minutes offered within the respective tariff plan. The following table indicates to which tariff plans this offer applies and the number of months with limitless calls and text messaging relevant for each tariff.

A phone as a present
Christmas is just not as festive without a new phone under the Christmas tree. Each customer who meets the conditions to acquire a package of free minutes and SMS - i.e. a new activation of a currently offered tariff plan or switching from Twist to a tariff plan - can get a new mobile phone as a free gift. Those who wish to please themselves or their loved ones with a new mobile can choose one of two handsets: the Nokia 1600 or Sony Ericsson J220i. In order to receive a phone, customers have to simultaneously activate the Happy Partner tariff or another currently offered standard tariff plan.

The Happy Partner tariff costs CZK 39 excl. VAT (CZK 46.41 incl. VAT) per month. Customers who also activate the Loved Ones service will be able to call the user of the Happy Partner card free of charge for a period of 12 months and will only pay the monthly fee of CZK 39 excl. VAT (CZK 46.41 incl. VAT). 

Customers will pay a symbolic price of CZK 1 for the present, which they will get back within 60 days following the activation. When purchasing the present, it is necessary to provide a deposit of CZK 1,000, which will be refunded no later than the date of issuance of the fourth Statement of Services. The offer is valid until 31 December 2006 or while supplies of the aforementioned gift phones last.

Examples of combinations of both offers
Customers who select a HIT version of a tariff and activate Happy Partner will save money in three ways at the same time. Thanks to the HIT tariff add-on, they will have cheaper calls and SMS, calls to the Happy Partner SIM card will cost them CZK 0/min. and they will get a new phone free of charge.
Those who choose a tariff with a subsidized phone and activate Happy Partner will make calls to the Happy Partner SIM card for CZK 0 and get two phones - one for a subsidized price and one as a free gift. 

Twist: Evening and weekend calls for one crown
A special Christmas edition of Twist cards has been prepared for users of prepaid services. These cards are sold with the Twist Christmas tariff, which allows its users to make calls within the T-Mobile network for as little as CZK 1 per minute on weekdays from 9 p.m. to 9 a.m. and during the entire day at weekends and holidays. Twist users may significantly reduce their expenditure on evening and weekend calls during more than six months. Their off-peak calls will be charged at CZK 1/min. until 30 June 2007. Other prices, such as SMS or calls made during weekdays are identical to the Twist Standard tariff.

Twist cards with the Twist Christmas 2006 tariff can be purchased separately for CZK 249 incl. VAT with credit of CZK 50 or with a Twist set. The Christmas offer also includes Twist cards for favorable prices without the Christmas tariff. A new Twist number and credit of CZK 20 will cost CZK 99 incl. VAT and the services will be charged according to the Twist Standard price list.

Phones with a discount
Of course, Santa Claus has not forgotten that Twist customers also need new phones. Each customer who purchases a new phone as part of a Twist set between 2 October and 31 December 2006 will receive a discount of CZK 600 on the price of the handset. Getting a new phone for a lower price is easy. Customers who activate a Twist card immediately upon purchase and top up their credit with a minimum one-off amount of CZK 600 will pay CZK 600 less for the new phone in the Twist set compared to the usual price of the phone. This discount applies to all handsets in T-Mobile's offer.

Existing Twist customers can enjoy long evening and weekend calls within the Twist Bonus loyalty program. And if they use Twist Mobile Extra and top up their credit with at least CZK 600 they will also get the discount of CZK 600 on a mobile phone.

Shop from home
Don't feel like queuing in crowded shops? Why would you when you can use T-Mobile's internet shop at www.t-mobile.cz/eShop. And those who do not want to shop via the internet can use the toll-free line on 800 73 73 73 or the T-Mobile Customer Centre on 603 603 603 (4603 from the T-Mobile network). The ordered goods will be delivered right to the customer's home by the PPL delivery service. Customers can choose one of three days when the parcel will be delivered to them. PPL will inform customers sufficiently in advance when the parcel will be delivered.
