Cheap roaming is a hit

• 23,000 customers have activated the Cestovatel (Traveler) add-on so far
• The length of calls has increased by hundreds of percent
• SMS from abroad now for only CZK 5

Prague, 1 June 2006 - Roaming prices have recently become one of the most-discussed issues in the telecommunications industry. T-Mobile Czech Republic had clearly expressed its opinion before such discussions on roaming fees were even initiated. After launching a number of new services, on 15 January 2006 it introduced a roaming add-on called Cestovatel, which reduces the prices of calls from abroad nearly to the level of those charged for local calls. The initial results clearly show that customers have enjoyed this offer and like to use it. It is no wonder, as they can save around 55% on call rates with this add-on. As for incoming calls, individuals can save even more than 80% in the case of long calls. Starting on 1 June, T-Mobile offers new favorable rates within the Cestovatel add-on for text messages (SMS will be charged at CZK 5 excl. VAT), as well as for the use of mobile data.

Cestovatel - the favorite traveling companion
As on 31 May, 23,000 customers were using this offer, of which almost 70% was represented by business customers. With Cestovatel, customers do not have to worry about their phone bill when traveling abroad. Thanks to the favorable per-minute rates that are similar to those for local calls, the total length of calls has significantly increased, particularly in the case of incoming calls. This is understandable, as an incoming call is charged at CZK 29 (34.51 incl. VAT) and it may last up to an hour. The length of incoming calls made by individuals in the TMO network has increased almost four times (365%). The length of outgoing calls in the magenta networks has also significantly increased - roughly by half on average.

In the first months of the year, Cestovatel was mainly activated by people traveling on business. However, the figures for these first months indicate that the price of CZK 4/min. (4.76 incl. VAT) is attractive not only for business customers, but also for holiday-makers who thus no longer need to worry about their phone bills.

SMS for CZK 5, 1 kB of data for ten hellers
As of 1 June, T-Mobile contract customers can take advantage of other favorable offers that bring the prices for SMS and data transmissions in all T-Mobile networks closer to local prices. With Cestovatel, customers will now pay only CZK 5 for SMS (5.95 incl. VAT) and use GPRS data connections for better rates - 1 kB of data will be charged at CZK 0.10 (0.12 incl. VAT) for internet connection, and CZK 0.60 (0.71 incl. VAT) for WAP connection.

The first minute is charged in full, after which the call is charged per second.
In the case of data transmissions, the billing unit is 10 kB for WAP and 100 kB for the internet connection.
