Prague, 29 June 2011 – T-Mobile has prepared an attractive summer discount for all users of the BAV SE and BAV SE s Mých5 plans, which are intended for customers aged 6-26. The price of calls between users of these plans will be reduced to CZK 0.50/min. incl. VAT during the period from 1 July to 30 September.
Not only parents but also young people can stop worrying about the size of their phone bill while school is out, as they will certainly not spend the money they make at their summer jobs on telephone charges. The discount may amount to nearly 90% as compared with the standard rates charged under the BAV SE plan. The discount will be valid for the entire three months and will be applied as soon as users’ free minutes have been used up.
Users of these two plans do not need to activate this benefit by themselves or to call anywhere, as the operator will activate it automatically for all of the more than 200,000 customers currently using these plans, of whom almost half are aged 18-24.
How can customers know that they are using the BAV SE or BAV SE s Mých5 plan and their calls are therefore charged at CZK 0.50 per minute? All they need to do is to dial the number they wish to call and they will hear an informative message. Another possibility is to send a free SMS query with BAVSE XXX XXX XXX (number to be called) to 4603.
The plans are tailored to suit the needs of young customers. BAV SE costs CZK 228 per month, BAV SE s Mých5 only CZK 99. When activating the plan via the eShop, customers can save an additional 30% on the monthly fee for the first three months. They will thus pay CZK 159.60 for the former and CZK 69.30 for the latter. The standard per-minute rate for on-peak calls to T-Mobile and fixed-line numbers and to other networks under the BAV SE plan is CZK 4.20 and CZK 5.40 respectively. In the case of the BAV SE s Mých5 plan, calls between the selected five numbers are charged at CZK 2.90/min., to other numbers CZK 4.90/min. All prices include VAT.
