After More than Five Years, Spokeswoman of RadioMobil Decided to Leave in Horizon of First Half of the Year

The spokeswoman of RadioMobil, who started to work for the future Paegas GSM network operator shortly after tender results for the second GSM network carrier in the CR had been announced, has decided to leave the Company after more than five years of successful management of the Corporate Communications Department. It will happen in the horizon of the first half of the year. It is a joint decision of Tereza Kakosová and the management of RadioMobil, which was made already at the end of last year. The Company management respects her decision and regards it as a natural step in her further professional development. â?śI am of course ready to help my successor as much as possible with taking over all the responsibilities resulting from my position in the Company,â?ť said Tereza Kakosová.

Tereza Kakosová has been in charge of RadioMobilâ??s Corporate Communication department, which takes care of contact with journalists but also of corporate design management, preparation of corporate publications and other classical public relations activities. During her activity in the Company she managed to build up a team of experts in all areas in the departmentâ??s focus. Its work was also awarded several times. Most recently in autumn, when a corporate publication won the first places in three different categories of the contest Corporate Medium of 2000.

From 1995, Tereza Kakosová worked for the CMobil consortium, which entered a tender for a second licence to operate a GSM network in the CR. The consortium won, RadioMobil was established in June 1996, and it started offering Paegas GSM network services to the public in September. â?śAfter its short time of existence RadioMobil has ranked among the most eminent companies in the Czech market. I am convinced that Tereza Kakosová contributed to that as well, and I would like to thank her both personally and on behalf of the whole Company for her work for RadioMobil, and would like to wish her in advance a lot of success in her further professional life,â?ť the Managing Director of RadioMobil Roland Mahler commented on the spokeswomanâ??s announcement.

The joint-stock company RadioMobil is the operator of a GSM 900/1800 MHz network called Paegas. Since 1996, when RadioMobil entered the Czech market and brought in competition, it obtained almost two million customers. RadioMobil sells prepaid services under the brand Paegas Twist, which is the most successful prepaid service in the Czech market, providing its users with a whole range of services such as data and fax connection, GSM Banking based on the SIM Toolkit standard, Paegas Assistant services, access to WAP services and furthermore it offers a free e-mail ClickBox Easy. Paegas Click is another brand of RadioMobil, focused on customers with Internet or WAP access. At www.click.cz they can easily configure services as well as for instance use a comprehensive e-mail box based on the unified messaging technology.

RadioMobil belongs to the Deutsche Telekom Group â?" one of the worldâ??s biggest telecommunication operators. Through its subsidiary company T-Mobil (Deutsche Telekomâ??s mobile operator) it owns 87.3 % in the consortium CMobil. Other shareholders of CMobil are: STET Mobile Holdings N.V. (12 %) and PVT a.s. (0.7 %). The international consortium CMobil is, together with ÄŚeské radiokomunikace, a shareholder of RadioMobil. In 2001 CMobil is going to enforce an option that will increase its stake in RadioMobil from the existing 49 % to 60.8 %.

Today, the Paegas GSM network covers over 99% of the Czech population and 99.8% of first class roads. RadioMobil customers may use their mobile phones in networks of 198 operators from 87 countries of the whole world (119 various locations altogether). By the end of 2000, more than 1,850,000 customers were using Paegas services.
