After the customer services centre in Pragueâ??s Koospol building and in Louny, RadioMobil will open a third operatorsâ?? centre in Hradec Králové by the beginning of 2002. Apart from info line departments there will be a software development centre and technical operation department. The contract was officially signed 19th January 2001 by representatives of RadioMobil and city representatives. â?śCustomer care is one of the most important parts of our business and we invest a great deal of means and energy in it. This is evidenced by our investment in a brand new building in Hradec Králové, which will become one of the largest RadioMobil centres in the Czech Republic in two years,â?ť said the Customer Services Director of RadioMobil Piermaria Longo.
Within two years after commencing operation in Hradec RadioMobil will create over 600 jobs and many more will be created indirectly. About 500 employees will work in the customer care centre providing information, advice and services to both existing and potential customers of the Paegas GSM network. Another approximately 100 specialists will find work in the information services development centre in Hradec Králové. â?śWe also entered partnership with the University of Hradec, which will prepare specialised teaching programs and courses in co-operation with us so that its graduates are as well prepared as possible for demanding work in the world of telecommunications. It is a great opportunity especially for young people and fresh graduates without experience,â?ť remarked the spokeswoman of RadioMobil Tereza Kakosová.
The total investment intended for building and technological equipment of the centre approaches one billion crowns and belongs to the most significant investments in the Eastern Bohemian region as well as in the whole CR. At the same time, requirements of operatorsâ?? centre equipment are more demanding than those of regular offices. Everything must ultimately facilitate operatorsâ?? work so that they can concentrate on helping the customer. Every info line worker deals on average with 150 calls per shift. This demands a lot from himself/herself, but also from the technological equipment and ergonomic arrangement of his/her workplace. In addition to that, operator services are available to customers 24 hours a day, and the three-shift working system has to be considered too.
The building will be constructed in a location known as the Aldis Zone. The brand new four-storey building according to the design of Robert Wild will grow on a platform exceeding 3,000 sq. metres. Before producing the project, a whole team of specialists got acquainted with job characteristics of future employees in existing customer services centres, and was therefore able to modify the design to correspond to the job as much as possible. And so he used, among others, special building mantles and perfectly insulating facade elements for the project so that operators are not disturbed by outside noise. â?śWe gave the architect a clear task and he fulfilled it perfectly. He succeeded in combining the functional and esthetical aspect and I think the building will become one of the most interesting buildings of its kind in the CR,â?ť said Tereza Kakosová.
