T-Mobile begins LTE deployment in the 2 600 MHz frequency band

This week, T-Mobile began using LTE in the 2 600 MHz frequency band in accordance with the auction conditions. The area covered with this band currently includes Prague’s Petrovice district. In future, the operator plans to deploy LTE in the 2 600 MHz band in certain border areas, mainly due to coordination with the neighbouring countries. T-Mobile also intends to use this band to further strengthen the capacity of its existing LTE coverage in the Czech Republic.
