Prague, 3 February 2014 – T-Mobile is introducing a unique, innovative offer of Shared Internet, which allows sharing one data limit between two devices. The new service is available to all customers using any of the S námi (“With Us”) tariff plans that include a data allowance. These clients can now use the internet on another device with an extra SIM card for a monthly fee of CZK 99 charged in addition to the fee for the original voice tariff plan. Therefore, they do not need to sign a new contract. This innovative solution is ideal, for example, for customers using both a tablet and a smartphone. The offer is valid from today.
“In connection with the soaring sales of tablets to our customers and the broadening offer of those devices, we have been putting increased emphasis on innovations in this area,” says František Mala, Resident Segment Director at T-Mobile, adding: “The number of customers who use a tablet or another device for surfing the web in addition to their smartphones has also been growing fast. This unique offer will enable them to connect to the internet easily and conveniently anywhere, regardless of the availability of WiFi and without the necessity of replacing their SIM card.”
The operator currently has more than 730,000 users of the S námi tariff plans. Most of them, however, do not use up the data allowance available with their tariff plan in full or they do not use it at all. With this exclusive offer, T-Mobile will give customers an opportunity to use data in the fastest mobile network in the Czech Republic to the fullest.
SHARED INTERNET ONLY
The principle is quite simple – for only CZK 99 per month in addition to the price of their voice tariff plan, customers can activate a separate SIM card with Shared Internet only. This unique product offers the possibility of sharing the data allowance with another device, without users having to sign a contract for another tariff plan.
The SIM card is without any commitments at all – it is not conditioned by a new contract. It will be allocated to the original voice plan and the fee will be billed in addition to the original voice plan (in regular monthly Statements of Services). If customers use up their data allowance, they can purchase an extra portion of data via the main SIM card. The extra SIM card with Shared Internet does not allow making calls and sending text messages; it only provides data services. The parameters of internet settings (speed, data allowance) are the same as with the main SIM card.
The Shared Internet service can be activated with the S námi v síti+ (“With Us in the Network+”), S námi síť nesíť (“With Us Regardless of the Network”), S námi bez hranic (“With Us without Borders”), S námi bez hranic+ (“With Us without Borders+”) and S námi síť nesíť v podnikání (“With Us Regardless of the Network in Business”) tariff plans. The product will be available at T-Mobile and partner shops and can also be ordered via the Call Centre. When ordering the service by phone, customers will receive the SIM card by mail.
