Starting today, the innovated Magenta AI is being introduced. It now includes Picsart, which offers a wide range of tools for creative work with images. Directly in the My T-Mobile application, it will allow users to edit the background of photos with the help of artificial intelligence for free. Creative creators will appreciate the integrated features from ElevenLabs, with which they can create a podcast based on a request – just upload a document, text, link to an article, or use one of the topic suggestions directly in the application. The tool then automatically generates an output where two AI moderators lead a discussion on the topic. It will then be saved directly to the integrated library and can be played back.
"Almost 1.7 million of our customers launch the My T-Mobile application on their phones every month. Its new AI features as well as improved design will ensure a better user experience and accessibility in all situations," said Petar Babić, Sales Director of T-Mobile's Residential Customer Segment, adding: "We also work with suggestions from our customers that help us, for example, plan network upgrades and improve our services. We believe that customers will also appreciate the quick access to advice on how to deal with the connection, for example, during planned service work."
The main sections of the My T-Mobile application have also undergone a redesign. The main screen now offers users the most important summary – not only data consumption, but also current spending on each number. The services are clearly divided into tabs according to the type and which one a particular customer uses. Partners whose AI solutions are integrated in the application have also received their own tab. It is also adapted for users with special needs in accordance with the EU Digital Accessibility Regulation. Therefore, the font and clickable surfaces have been enlarged, and the resolution of the application itself has increased.
The improved app also works more with the users themselves and their feedback. Directly in the Support section, customers can now choose a place where they would like to see improved mobile signal coverage. They can then see on the map whether improvements are planned in the location over the next year and a half, and they can even turn on notifications for improved coverage. Furthermore, they can easily check in the application whether, for example, service work is underway in their home, and they will also find tips and advice on how to solve such an interim period.
