- CZK 24 incl. VAT for one day of internet access
- Customer protection: web'n'walk browser homepage free of charge
Prague, 16 September 2010 - T-Mobile is extending its portfolio of data plans with a one-day bundle: Internet v mobilu ("Mobile Internet") offers 24-hour internet access for CZK 24 incl. VAT. The offer is available to all contract as well as Twist customers who do not have an activated data bundle yet. The price does not depend on the volume of data transferred - for CZK 24, users can enjoy unlimited web browsing for 24 hours from the moment they connect to the internet.
"We are continuing the trend of simplifying our offer of services as much as possible and extending their availability to all customers," explains Petr Dvořák, Marketing Director at T-Mobile, adding: "The one-day bundle is designed to meet the needs of occasional mobile internet users."
Existing customers can activate one-day mobile internet access by sending an SMS with IDEN A to 4603 before they use the service for the first time. For new clients, Internet v mobilu na den is set up as the basic method of billing for mobile internet access.
The one-day bundle is suitable for infrequent internet users, for searching for information (e.g. time tables), checking social networks and reading e-mails. The billing method in particular is ideal - customers will only pay for the service after they start using it, not upon its activation. More avid internet users are recommended to activate any of the data add-ons.
The principle of billing for the GPRS/EDGE/3G service is very simple: once users get connected, they are charged CZK 24. For this amount, customers can use the data access for the next 24 hours; the time starts running from the moment they log in to the service. The operator also protects clients who click on the data access icon by mistake - the homepage of the web'n'walk browser is free of charge.
The maximum volume of data transferred within 24 hours is 10MB, which is sufficient to meet the ever increasing data-transfer requirements of different applications. When reaching this limit, customers will be notified via SMS and the connection speed may be reduced. Customers therefore do not have to worry that they will be charged extra when exceeding the FUP.
