Prague, 6 June 2008 - T-Mobile Czech Republic won the 2008 jobpilot.cz Employer of the Year award, with Hewlett-Packard and Robert Bosch coming in second and third respectively. The winners of the sixth annual awards in the area of employment policy were announced yesterday in the Czech National Bank's Congress Center.
"We are very pleased that we have managed to win this prestigious award in spite of such strong competition. People are T-Mobile's most valuable asset and employee care has always been one of our key priorities," says Roland Mahler, T-Mobile's Managing Director, adding: "We not only try to create a motivational work environment but we also strive to ensure that our employees' private and working lives are well balanced by providing them a full range of benefits."
T-Mobile's colors are worn every day by more than 2,500 employees who can choose from a wide range of benefits, such as Cafeteria elective benefits, contributions for private pension schemes, personal training and development, employee handsets, healthcare, five weeks of holiday, employee parties that may also be attended by family members, and discounts on purchases of goods and services.
